The Niagara Wine Trail has been growing each year, following the footsteps of the many trails across New York State. Nestled between Lake Ontario and the Niagara Escarpment, the region offers a unique microclimate suitable for the production of world-class wines.

Your tour will begin with a visit to Vizcarra Vineyards at Becker Farms. Taste some of their 20 different red, white and fruit wines, and sample their homemade pies, jam and fudge. Then it’s off to the Lockport Canalside, an 1840 warehouse renovated to provide a casual yet elegant Canal Town atmosphere for a delicious buffet lunch on the banks of the Erie Canal. Two more winery visits follow featuring wine tastings, unique gift shops and gourmet cheeses and chocolates.

Buffalo’s Best – History, Architecture and the Olmsted Crescent
